Red-rumped Swallows are migratory birds, and their movements are influenced by seasonal changes. They migrate south for the winter in many regions. They have an elegant, streamlined body with glossy blue-black upper parts, a distinctive red lower back, and chestnut face, throat, and breast. They boast a white belly, long pointed wings, and a deeply forked tail, enhancing their agility in flight which helps them to feed on flying insects, capturing them with precision.
