Jungle babblers, recognised as “Seven Sisters” in urban Northern India and “Seven Brothers” in Bengali and other regional languages due to their gregarious nature, typically forage in small groups comprising six to ten birds. It is a small to medium-sized bird found in the Indian subcontinent. It has a brownish-grey plumage with a long tail. They are quite vocal, producing a variety of calls, including chatters, chirps, and melodious notes.
