Brook’s House Gecko, also known as ‘Spotted House Gecko’, is widely distributed across South and Southeast Asia. It has a distinctive appearance with a slender body, flattened head, and large, lidless eyes. The coloration is variable, ranging from shades of brown to grey, often with patterns or markings that aid in camouflage.It possesses specialized toe pads that allows it to climb on various surfaces. While not as vocal as some other gecko species, Brook’s House Gecko may produce soft vocalizations, including chirps and clicks, as a form of communication. This nocturnal gecko inhabits a variety of ecosystems, including forests, grasslands, rocky areas, and human-altered environments such as gardens and buildings.
